Subacromial bursitis
Do you experience pain in your shoulder which gets worse when lying on it at night, when making circular arm movements or lifting your arm to push open a door? You could have subacromial bursitis. There are simple measures you can take to improve this by limiting overhead activity where possible, gentle shoulder stretches and having good posture. It could be a corticosteroid injection would be of benefit and this can be administered at a consultation with a shoulder surgeon. For more information please click here
